QA Localization Tester

We are looking for a dedicated QA Localization Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and cultural appropriateness of our products across various international markets. You will work closely with our development, product, and marketing teams to identify and resolve localization issues, ensuring a seamless user experience for our global audience. **Responsibilities:** * Execute linguistic and functional testing for localized software, websites, and applications. * Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring clear and concise bug reports. * Verify that translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and consistent with project glossaries and style guides. * Perform regression testing on bug fixes and new features. * Collaborate with localization engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines. * Provide feedback on the user interface and user experience from a localization perspective. * Participate in test plan creation and review. * Maintain and update localization test suites. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in localization and QA. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role, with a focus on localization. * Excellent understanding of localization principles and best practices. * Proficiency in at least one foreign language (written and spoken) is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. * Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. **Bonus Points:** * Experience with translation memory tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ). * Knowledge of scripting languages. * Experience testing mobile applications (iOS, Android). **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work with a global product and diverse team. * Professional development and growth opportunities. * A collaborative and innovative work environment. * Flexible working arrangements (if applicable).
