Job description
You need to have:
- Experience in test automation for web applications (optionally mobile, desktop, and API testing) using one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#
- Knowledge of test automation design patterns and best practices
- Experience working with CI/CD systems and pipelines
- Experience with test reporting tools and frameworks
- Experience using version control systems (CVS/VCS)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with functional and non-functional testing, including web, mobile, desktop, UI, and API/web service testing
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it
- Experience working with bug tracking and test management systems
- Experience creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test strategies, checklists, test cases, and use cases
- Experience working in Agile software development environments (Scrum, Scrum-Kanban)
- Experience analyzing requirements and working with design mockups
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Browser Developer Tools, Fiddler, and various online testing services
- Experience estimating testing efforts and tasks
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization concepts, including how virtual resources are used for testing and familiarity with tools such as VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Docker, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud providers, and related services
- Spoken English level B2 or higher
- Experience developing scripts for interaction with third-party systems and external components
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
- Mentoring experience
- Understanding of databases and practical knowledge of SQL
- Experience with API testing tools
- Spoken German at B2 level or higher
- Knowledge of modern AI tools and practical experience using them in daily work
