QA Engineer/Software Tester (Brazil-based professionals only)

We are looking for a Full-level QA Engineer/Software Tester to join the team of one of our clients, a leading company in the electronic security and monitoring segment, recognized for its robust and innovative technological solutions for alarm central stations, CCTV, video monitoring, and technical service order management.

About the Project:

The Software Quality Assurance area is being structured within the development team. The position involves both strategic (QA) and operational (Tester) responsibilities, including defining processes, executing tests, and ensuring the quality of deliveries. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who appreciate building, organizing, and elevating the product's quality level from scratch.

This is not just an operational function; we are looking for someone to help build the QA area from scratch.

Main Responsibilities:

• Estructuring and supporting the implementation of the QA area;
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solution quality;
• Defining processes, flows, and quality standards;
• Executing manual tests on web, mobile, and API systems;
• Creating and maintaining test plans and cases for web and mobile applications;
• Validating new features before releases in web and mobile environments;
• Reporting bugs clearly, organized, and reproducible;
• Working together with developers from specification;
• Supporting technical and functional support to internal users, analyzing and reproducing reported problems;
• Creating QA documentation and best practices;
• Identifying quality risks and proposing process improvements;
• Validating deliveries before deployment in production;
• Following up on corrections and ensuring no regression;
• Using testing management tools and documentation;
• Ensuring that tickets are created for the designated technical team, with a description of the problem.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in QA Engineer or Tester roles;
• Experience with automated and manual testing (functional, regression, and integration);
• Previous experience structuring an area or process of QA;
• Ability to create documentation;
• Experience with testing management tools and documentation;
• Experience working with software development teams;
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs;
• Familiarity with Git;
• Attention to detail and critical thinking;
• Good communication and organization.

Desired Qualifications:

• Lived experience in SaaS products;
• Basic knowledge of databases;
• Experience in testing integration and validating APIs;
• Experience providing technical support to end-users is desirable;
• Experience with critical or high-availability systems;
• Responsibility for managing production environments;
• Vision of quality as a continuous process;
• A proactive profile, capable of structuring processes;
• Autonomy to identify and propose improvements;
• Ease in acting in multidisciplinary teams.

Contractual Conditions:

• Full-time remote work;
• Dedication of 40 hours per week with a focus on deliveries;
• Payout between R$ 8,000 and R$ 10,000 monthly;
• Contracting as PJ (Person Juridica) through Workana;
• Ongoing project with an initial contract term of 12 months and renewal conditional upon good performance.

Selection Process:

1. Rapid video screening on the Hireflix platform;
2. Practical technical test on the Adaface platform (simulating real challenges);
3. Brief alignment call with a Workana recruiter specialist;
4. Techical and cultural interview directly with the client.
