Job description
Location: Remote, occasional visits to the office in Warsaw Start: ASAP (max 30 days OW) Cooperation form: B2B with ITFS Rate: 120-140 PLN/h + VAT Recruitment process: Short phone call with an ITFS recruiter -> Technical interview -> Soft skills interview -> Decision SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Cooperation with developers and business teams regarding review and clarification of requirements, as well as analysis of use cases and business processes. Design, creation, and execution of comprehensive manual tests, including test case design, their manual execution, and defect logging. Performing manual tests for exploratory scenarios and functionalities that have not yet been automated. Translating complex business requirements into effective test scenarios suitable for automation. Creating, maintaining, and updating highly reusable automated test scripts in Playwright for web and desktop applications, ensuring effective distributed execution (DEX). Performing API tests using Postman, verifying payloads and comprehensive end-to-end processes. Performing database validations using SQL queries. Support in analyzing (triage) and prioritizing reported issues and cooperating with the development team for their timely resolution. Preparing test reports, providing information on testing progress and quality metrics. Participation in continuous improvement of test automation processes. REQUIREMENTS Min. 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, Min. 2 years of practical experience in test automation using Playwright for web and desktop applications, Possessing an ISTQB certificate, Practical knowledge of API testing in Postman and executing SQL queries, Knowledge of Azure DevOps/qTest tools, High communication skills, inquisitiveness, and attention to detail, English language at a minimum B2/C1 level, enabling fluent work in an international environment, Nice to have: Knowledge of Tosca tool, Tricentis Certified Automation Specialist (TAS) or Tricentis Certified Test Design Specialist (TDS) certifications, Knowledge of AI tools supporting development work, e.g., GitHub Copilot, Experience working in an international environment.
