Nippon Data Systems is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer for a position to support R&D activities.
Job Description
As a Software QA Engineer, you will work closely with the R&D Project Manager, Product Architects, FPGA Developers, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality product releases. You will be involved in defining test plans, writing automated test suites, and performing validation tasks for product portfolio, which includes Oscilloscopes, AWGs, Digitizers, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans.
Write, review, and run automated test suites and test cases.
Work closely with global R&D teams to understand product architecture and functionality.
Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software features and fixes.
Requirements
Essential:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
Strong understanding of Digital Electronics, Signals & Systems.
Familiarity with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., C#, C++, C, Java, Tcl, Python).
Excellent communication skills in English.
Highly self-driven, organized, and collaborative.
Preferred:
0 to 2 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
Demonstrated experience in writing and executing test scripts.
Prior exposure to scripting languages such as Tcl/Tk or Python.
