QA Engineer

Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years of software QA experience in iGaming, online casino or game testing.
- Practical experience testing slot games or other real-money gaming products.
- Strong understanding of software testing methods, defect lifecycles, risk-based testing and regression testing.
- Understanding of slot terminology and mechanics, including paylines, ways-to-win, volatility, RTP, hit frequency and bonus features.
- Ability to calculate and independently verify payouts, multipliers and bet outcomes.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Familiarity with client-server systems, APIs, HTTP requests, JSON, browser developer tools and application logs.
- Experience using defect and test-management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to visual, numerical and behavioral details.
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with regulated iGaming markets and certification requirements.
- Familiarity with gaming standards or laboratories such as GLI, GA, eCOGRA, BMM Testlabs or jurisdiction-specific regulators.
- Experience testing casino aggregators, remote game servers, wallets, jackpots, tournaments or bonus systems
- Knowledge of SQL and experience validating backend data.
- Experience with API-testing tools such as Postman or network-debugging tools such as Charles Proxy.
- Basic understanding of random-number generators and statistical testing.
- ISTQB or another recognized QA certification is a plus.
- Interest in casino games and the ability to evaluate them from both technical and player-experience perspectives.
Job Description
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, regression suites and exploratory testing scenarios.
- Test slot mechanics, including reels, paylines, symbols, wilds, scatters, multipliers, jackpots, free spins, respins, and free rounds, etc.
- Validate game rules, paytables, bet configurations, win calculations, maximum-win limits, Jackpot wins and other in-game winning scenarios.
- Verify game behavior with different currencies, languages, jurisdictions, and regulatory configurations.
- Test integrations with casino platforms, player wallets, aggregators.
- Validate session recovery, interrupted rounds, disconnections, retries and unfinished-game handling.
- Test responsible-gaming, age-restriction, session-limit and jurisdiction-specific features.
- Perform browser, device, operating-system, screen-size and orientation compatibility testing.
- Test game performance, loading time, animation, audio and behavior under slow or unstable network conditions.
- Identify, document, prioritize and track defects.
- Collaborate with developers, game designers, mathematicians, product managers and other relevant teams.
- Support release validation during internal or external certification processes.
