As QA Engineer (m/w/d) at amber, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our SaaS product. You'll be the main point of contact:in for software testing, work closely with our Development- and Product-Team, and shape our test strategy technically and procedurally.

Aufgaben

• You identify and track software errors, document these, as well as the solution, to make our Dev Team better in the long run
• You build test automation frameworks at amber and maintain and optimize them continuously
• You perform functional, exploratory, and regression tests and ensure that new features do not affect existing ones
• You automate critical user journeys according to the test pyramid
• You identify, analyze, and document clean bugs including reproduction steps, prioritization, and follow-up in Jira
• You work closely with the Dev Team, product managers, and designers to ensure that software meets the highest requirements
• You ensure continuous improvement of test processes and quality standards at amber through your work

Qualifikation

• You have already several years of experience in software quality assurance, ideally in agile B2B SaaS development environments
• You bring a technical background with, e.g., a completed computer science degree
• You have experience with manual and automated tests and bring a comprehensive understanding of modern development processes (Agile, CI/CD, Git workflows)
• You work daily with tools like Jira, Playwright, Postman, and are proficient in Python and JavaScript
• You speak fluent German and have good English skills to navigate software & docs

Nice to have: You bring an ISTQB certification
