PROFILE DEFINITION

Highly technical, autonomous Senior QA Automation Engineer (Full Automation) with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, focused on designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch. Specialist with strong programming skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript) capable of building comprehensive end-to-end solutions for APIs, Web Applications, Mobile, and Databases. As a Senior role, you will be responsible for defining the architecture and best practices for automation, integrating these tests into CI/CD flows using Azure DevOps, effectively communicating metrics and results to stakeholders, and providing technical mentorship to junior and semi-senior QAs.

The project consists of the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive end-to-end testing automation strategy (Full Automation) for Provident's technological ecosystem.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language, whether Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Web Automation: Proficiency in Selenium (with Java or Python) and design of maintainable frameworks.
• Mobile Automation: Solid experience using Appium. APIs and Services: Experience in REST, validation of requests/responses, contracts, authentication, and end-to-end testing using tools like Postman/Newman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Databases: Proficiency in SQL to perform complex queries, validate information, and prepare/manage data for tests.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with TestNG/JUnit (for Java), PyTest (for Python), or Jest/Mocha (for JavaScript/TypeScript), depending on your domain language.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Solid handling of Git (repositories, branches, pull requests) and integration and execution of automated suites in pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Reporting and Processes: Generation of structured reports using tools like Allure or ExtentReports, as well as the ability to identify manual or repetitive processes and develop solutions to automate them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions and frameworks from scratch for services, web applications, mobile applications, and processes.
• Define the architecture, standards, and best practices for the Automation QA area. Identify manual or repetitive processes, as well as automation opportunities, and prioritize them according to their impact. Prepare and manage data for tests using complex SQL queries.
• Analyze and solve technical problems autonomously. Integrate and execute automated test suites within the development cycle and in CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Define and track key automation metrics, such as coverage, flakiness (test instability), and execution times. Generate structured reports on test results.
• Propose continuous improvements to the overall strategy and the QA team's processes.
• Effectively communicate results and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and semi-senior level QAs.

Work Scheme: Hybrid (1 or 2 days a week with the client)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
