QA Automation Engineer

The ideal candidate has a strong QA background, enjoys testing across multiple platforms, and is excited about the challenges of testing TV and Music applications, connected devices, and internet related products. The candidate is proactive, detail-focused, self-driven, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities: Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and TV platforms Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern automation frameworks Identify, document, and track software defects while working closely with developers to resolve issues Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing Ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle Continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage We are looking for you, if you have: Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance on mobile and web applications, with strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case creation, defect tracking, and regression testing At least 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience At least 2 years of experience in test automation for mobile, web applications or set-top boxes. Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests using Appium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks is highly desirable. Experience with Witbe or similar specialized testing platforms for set-top box is a strong advantage Able to work independently and take ownership of testing activities Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent focus and commitment to delivering high-quality software Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Nice to have: Interested in testing TV applications, Smart TVs, or Set-Top Boxes (STBs) Interested in testing Music applications Interested in testing internet products such as routers and wifi speed Experience working with TV and entertainment products, including streaming platforms and connected devices Experience in adding automating tests for set-top boxes Knowledge of Python for test automation or scripting We offer: Participation in interesting and demanding projects.
