QA Automation Engineer

Recruitment and Selection Criteria:
Experience: Between 2 and 4 years in a similar role
Higher education in technical field (informatics, automation, electronics etc.)
Advanced level of English

Understand web applications and REST APIs from a technical and logical perspective
Pay attention to details and quickly identify relevant test cases and edge cases

Can work in a context without an existing testing framework and take the initiative to build one simple and efficient;

Candidate Responsibilities:
Writing unit tests and integration tests for Java backend services
Creating and running automated tests for REST APIs (e.g. REST-assured, Postman scripts)
Developing automated UI tests for the Angular application (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
Collaborating with the development team to identify and define testing scenarios
Integrating tests into the CI pipeline (GitHub Actions – in progress)
Defining a basic automated testing structure that is reusable and easy to maintain
Documenting test cases and covered scenarios
Creating and optimizing technical documentation related to your activity.

Minimum Required Tech Stack:
Java 11+
JUnit, Mockito, REST-assured or equivalent
Cypress or another UI testing framework (Playwright, Selenium)
Git, Postman, Swagger
Experience in testing frontend Angular applications (from a UI/DOM perspective)Tech Stack
Tech Stack Preferable:
Experience with hybrid mobile apps (Ionic/Capacitor)
GitHub Actions for CI
Experience in introducing automated tests into an existing project without coverage
Knowledge of working with Docker, test databases (H2, Testcontainers)
