Python Developer

Hybrid Work: Warsaw (50% from the office) B2B 1000-1100 PLN/MD per day For our team, we are looking for an experienced Python Developer who will be responsible for the development of a data platform and backend services supporting processes related to business and market data. If you enjoy working with data, building scalable solutions, and developing modern APIs, this role is for you. Hybrid Work - Warsaw (50% from the office). Scope of Responsibilities Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines responsible for acquiring, processing, and transforming data from internal systems and external market sources (Apache Airflow). Creating and developing a data model with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and data lineage tracking. Developing and maintaining backend applications and REST APIs in Python that expose data and business logic for internal systems. Integrating with source systems and external APIs, and implementing solutions based on event-driven communication. Ensuring code quality through tests, documentation, monitoring, and data quality control. Collaborating with product teams, architects, Scrum Masters, and developers in translating business requirements into stable and scalable solutions. For those interested in Full Stack development – the opportunity to co-create the frontend layer in Angular. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer. Very good knowledge of the Python language. Experience working with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas). Experience in creating REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks). Very good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases. Experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines, knowledge of Apache Airflow is a plus. Knowledge of Git, code review, automated tests, and CI/CD practices. Ability to design integrations between systems and work with APIs. Communicative knowledge of English enabling work in an international environment. Nice to have Frontend experience in Angular. Knowledge of cloud solutions and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka). Knowledge of data quality monitoring tools and system observability. Basic knowledge of Machine Learning processes and collaboration with Data Science teams.
