Python Backend Developer (m/f/d) - Focus AI Platform

Build the platform for digital AI employees with us.

At IT Studio Rech GmbH, we develop a platform that allows companies to integrate AI employees into their daily operations. For this, we are looking for you: someone who develops solid software, reliably connects systems, and takes responsibility up to productive operation.

Responsibilities

You will have direct customer contact, can prove yourself as a technical sparring partner, and will constantly think outside the box, whether in our internal projects or with exciting high-impact clients.

As a developer, you will…

• You will further develop our platform with Python and FastAPI.
• You will connect AI agents, language models, and customer applications via APIs and existing integration tools.
• You will ensure secure access, protected customer data, and reliable operation with Docker.
• You will extend the existing React frontend if necessary and participate in technical decisions within the team.
• You will further develop our AI-supported development processes and make proven approaches reusable as skills.

Qualifications

You work independently, reliably, and love to try new things. You are flexible, think solution-oriented, and want to actively contribute to AI Driven Development.

You enjoy working in flat hierarchies, take responsibility, and are not afraid of direct customer contact.

Solid experience with Python and backend development, ideally with FastAPI and asynchronous programming.

• Practical experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and external integrations, including clean error handling.
• Proficient handling of Docker / Docker Compose, Linux, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with productive applications: You can systematically narrow down errors and securely manage updates, backups, and access credentials.
• Git, automated tests, and basic JavaScript/React knowledge.
• Expert knowledge in AI-driven software development: You confidently use coding agents and coding harnesses – from planning through implementation to quality assurance.
• Proficient handling of skills and agent workflows: You can create reusable skills, adapt existing ones, and productively deploy AI agents with clear instructions, appropriate context, and tools.
• An independent, reliable way of working and pleasure in clarifying requirements with the team and customers.

You are convinced that AI will fundamentally change software development. You actively shape this change, question the results of your tools, and take responsibility for the quality of the code being created.

A Plus

Experience with LLM APIs, Tool Calling, or MCP. Knowledge of Hermes, LiteLLM, Nango, or Presidio will help you get started – you can learn these tools with us.
