The Opportunity
We're looking for Graduates to join our MVD - Derivatives & Valuation team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, starting Monday 2 November 2026.
If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving complex problems and want to understand the "why" behind the numbers, this could be the role for you.
Our team works with audit teams and clients to value a wide range of financial instruments, from equities and bonds to derivatives and other complex products. Using market data, financial models and analytical thinking, we help solve challenging valuation problems and provide confidence in decision-making.
You'll gain exposure to a variety of clients, industries and projects, building both technical expertise and commercial insight. From day one, you'll contribute to real client work, take ownership of your development and learn from a collaborative, high-performing team that is invested in your success.
What you'll bring
A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Commerce, Science or a related quantitative discipline.
Final year student or recent graduate.
Strong academic results.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
An interest in financial markets, valuation, modelling or data-driven decision making.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to new challenges.
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team.
Confidence using technology, Excel, financial models and emerging AI-enabled tools.
