Purchasing Supervisor

We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in Arad and coordinate indirect procurement activities, contributing directly to cost optimization, supplier development, and procurement process efficiency.

What you will do:

• You will coordinate and monitor indirect procurement activities, from identifying needs to the delivery of products/services;
• You will identify and evaluate suppliers and coordinate RFI/RFQ, supplier selection, and qualification processes;
• You will negotiate prices, commercial conditions, and contracts with suppliers;
• You will analyze offers and coordinate the supplier selection process, in accordance with company procedures;
• You will manage purchase orders and track their confirmation and compliance;
• You will monitor deliveries and collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any issues;
• You will coordinate the process of handling claims towards suppliers and track the implementation of corrective actions;
• You will monitor and analyze procurement KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities;
• You will pursue opportunities for cost saving, risk reduction, and process optimization;
• You will coordinate and develop the subordinate team, supporting the performance and professional development of colleagues.

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or Technical studies
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, gained in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in negotiating and managing supplier relationships;
• Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export processes is an advantage;
• Basic knowledge in finance and cost analysis;
• Experience using MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems;
• Good analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and colleagues from other departments;
• Experience in leading a team and a focus on people development.
