Purchasing Specialist

Role Description: The candidate will be part of the purchasing department and will be responsible for managing the procurement of custom commodities, ensuring alignment between demand and supply. Key responsibilities include : Analyzing purchase proposals generated by the MRP, setting priorities, and coordinating with suppliers to obtain order confirmations. Evaluating and managing requests for changes related to customer demand (advances, delays, cancellations). Monitoring and updating delivery schedules as needed. Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination. Providing support to the purchasing team as needed.
