Purchasing Manager

Delta Engineering is Europe's market leader in automation for the die-casting industry. Started as a two-man business in 1992, Delta Group today works with 250 qualified and dedicated employees spread over 4 locations, with the head office in Ophasselt. Together they develop a wide range of innovative and efficient quality machines. To ensure their further growth, we are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be a crucial link between our production process and suppliers, responsible for purchasing materials and services that meet the company's high standards. Your main tasks will include: • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods and services; • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms; • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings; • Managing the purchasing process, including ordering, receiving, and paying for goods and services; • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that procurement processes align with business objectives. In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
