Location: Various locations across Ontario Public Health Nurses (PHNs) focus on promoting health and preventing disease within communities, families, and individuals. This includes conducting home visits, providing health education, and connecting clients with community resources. PHNs also work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public health principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in nursing or a related field is required, and a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is necessary.
