PTP Accountant - role in new SSC 2026

Job description

We are looking for an experienced developer for our client, a multinational group from the chemical industry that is currently building its SSC. The project is at an early stage - joining the team will give you real influence on shaping structures from scratch, as well as the opportunity to create, test, and participate in projects at an international level.

Location: Poznań

Responsibilities:

  • Daily PTP operations: invoicing PO and non-PO, creating and maintaining supplier data, reconciling GR/IR and subsequent actions, corrections, payment proposals, supporting inquiries from suppliers, timely and accurate execution of accounting processes related to travel expenses, updating and suggesting improvements, activities related to closing the period/year, closure reports,
  • Ensuring the realization of daily operations in accordance with local accounting standards (Local GAAP), group financial policy, and agreed-upon SLA/KPI,
  • Active participation in process transition, continuous improvement, standardization, and automation processes,
  • Being the first point of contact and support for all PTP-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders,
  • Preparing and maintaining SOP documentation,
  • Supporting the annual audit and internal/external control processes,
  • Participation in departmental projects and standardization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations,
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting in the PTP area,
  • Experience working in a BPO/SSC environment,
  • Very good knowledge of English (min. level B2); additional language will be an asset - especially German,
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail,
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field,
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills,
  • Good knowledge of SAP system,
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
