Psychologist/Scientific Collaborator (m/w/d) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Job description
The medical department of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy deals with the diagnosis, therapy, and prevention of psychological as well as psychosomatic diseases in children, adolescents, and young adults. The patients are at the center and are treated by a qualified, interdisciplinary team. The clinic has accordingly its clinical focal points over a closed acute admission station, an open psychiatric ward, and various outpatient clinics. The department is characterized by a high level of specialization and a strong focus on evidence-based treatment approaches. The team consists of experienced psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals who work together to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health disorders. The tasks and responsibilities include: • Conducting diagnostic assessments and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team • Providing evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to patients and their families • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of treatment strategies • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous professional development of the department. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in psychology or a related field, as well as several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health disorders. A master's degree in psychology or a related field is required. The ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances are essential for this role.
