PSD Design Engineer

Could you be the full-time PSD (Platform Screen Door) Engineer in [Bangalore] we’re looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a PSD Design Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative PSD solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Your main responsibilities will include: • Designing and developing PSD solutions that meet customer requirements and are in line with Alstom’s quality and safety standards. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PSD solutions with other systems and components. • Conducting feasibility studies and providing recommendations for PSD solutions that meet customer needs and are cost-effective. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and specifications for PSD solutions. • Participating in design reviews and providing input on design decisions. • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s quality and safety standards and regulatory requirements. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of PSD and applying this knowledge to improve our solutions. • Working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that PSD solutions are manufactured to the required quality and safety standards. • Providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders as needed. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the field of PSD. • Strong understanding of PSD design principles and standards. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with CAD software and other design tools. • Certification in CAD software or other relevant certifications. • Ability to work in a global team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. • We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. • Join our team and contribute to the development of innovative PSD solutions that make a difference in people’s lives. • Apply now to become a part of our dynamic team!
