Job description
Five locations. Many opportunities. One goal: good work.
Around 150 personalities, 5 locations in Speyer, Mannheim, Bensheim, Ludwigshafen, and Landau, and over 60 years of experience in tax consulting and auditing.
What may sound like a grown structure is anything but rigid with us. As a Digital Practice recognized by DATEV, we work with modern tools, clear processes, and digital workflows at all levels, thereby creating the foundation for a way of working that is efficient, structured, and flexible at the same time.
This benefits not only our team but also our clients: we advise regional medium-sized businesses as well as international corporate groups, start-ups, or family-run businesses. And our teams are just as diverse as our clients: each of our locations has its own dynamic. Sometimes manageable with 5 people, sometimes larger with 40 colleagues, but always familiar. What connects us all is a high professional standard, the willingness to take responsibility, and the conviction that good work can only arise where people have the freedom to contribute their strengths.
Tasks
What awaits you with us.
As an Audit Assistant (m/f/d), you will work on diverse projects in the field of auditing and be in direct communication with clients of various industries and sizes. You will become part of a team of around 150 people that has grown over many years and yet remained familiar. In your role, you will gain responsibility early on, develop professionally, and work closely with experienced colleagues from tax consulting and auditing. We will tailor your exact range of tasks to your strengths and background. The following could soon be part of your activities:
- Participation in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements
- Support in due diligence audits and business valuations
- Preparation of audit reports and documentation
- Processing of business management special topics and tax-related questions
- Contribution to the further development of audit processes and digital solutions
- Other activities that you enjoy
Qualifications
What you should bring with you.
We are not looking for perfect résumés, but for people who want to contribute their knowledge, work meticulously, and develop professionally. Whether you have just completed your studies or already have initial experience from practice in a law firm: with us, you will find an environment in which you can grow further and take on responsibility.
In addition, you should bring the following:
- Completed studies in economics (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a focus on auditing, accounting, or taxes
- Initial practical experience in tax matters (e.g., through internships or working student positions) is desirable, but not mandatory
- A structured, independent way of working and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
- Enjoy communication, reliability, and a good sense for people – whether in the team or in contact with clients
- DATEV knowledge is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement
Benefits
What we offer you.
Good work requires good conditions. It is important to us that you can do your job with care without having to bend yourself. That's why we create structures that simplify everyday life and create space that allows for development. Among other things, we offer you the following advantages:
- You will receive an attractive, performance-related salary – supplemented by potential performance bonuses, fuel vouchers, travel cost subsidies, or a public transport ticket, depending on your individual situation
- We support you specifically through internal and external training, personal development discussions, and support on your individual career path
- Your health is important to us – therefore, you benefit from company supplementary health insurance, which offers you more security beyond statutory benefits.
- With flexible working hours and home office, your job adapts to your life, not the other way around
- Up to 30 vacation days with reliable vacation coverage
- Comprehensive onboarding with a dedicated contact person
- Look forward to bright, ergonomic workstations, state-of-the-art technology, and a work environment where you can truly feel comfortable
- Managers you can talk to, not just greet: Our executives are interested in your ideas, your opinion, and your feedback
- Opportunities for internal location changes – choose the one that suits you from five locations
- Whether it's a summer party, Christmas party, or spontaneous events, we take time to celebrate successes and foster togetherness
What happens next.
We hope you have gained a first impression of us. If you can imagine becoming part of our team, we look forward to receiving your application.
You can find more information about us on our website and on the careers page.
If you have any questions in advance, just call or write to us. We are happy to take the time for a conversation.
