Audit Assistant (m/f/d)
Job description
Five locations. Many opportunities. One goal: good work.
Around 150 personalities, 5 locations in Speyer, Mannheim, Bensheim, Ludwigshafen, and Landau, and over 60 years of experience in tax consulting and auditing.
What sounds like a well-established structure is anything but rigid here. As a Digital Practice recognized by DATEV, we work with modern tools, clear processes, and digital workflows at all levels, creating the foundation for a way of working that is efficient, structured, and flexible at the same time.
This benefits not only our team but also our clients: we advise regional medium-sized businesses as well as international corporate groups, start-ups, and family-run businesses. And our teams are just as diverse as our clients: each of our locations has its own dynamic. Sometimes small with 5 people, sometimes larger with 40 colleagues, but always familiar. What connects us all is a high level of professional standards, the willingness to take responsibility, and the conviction that good work can only arise where people have the freedom to contribute their strengths.
Tasks
What awaits you here.
As an Audit Assistant (m/f/d), you will work on diverse projects in the field of auditing and be in direct contact with clients of various industries and sizes. You will become part of a team of around 150 people that has grown over many years and yet remained familiar. In your role, you will take on responsibility early on, develop professionally, and work closely with experienced colleagues from tax consulting and auditing. We will tailor your exact range of tasks to your strengths and background. The following could soon be part of your activities:
- Participation in the auditing of annual and consolidated financial statements
- Support with due diligence audits and business valuations
- Preparation of audit reports and documentation
- Handling of business administration special topics and tax-related questions
- Contribution to the further development of audit processes and digital solutions
- Other activities that you enjoy
Qualifications
What you should bring.
We are not looking for perfect resumes, but for people who want to contribute their knowledge, work diligently, and develop professionally. Whether you have just graduated or already have initial experience from practice in a firm: you will find an environment here where you can continue to grow and take on responsibility.
Additionally, you should bring the following:
- Completed studies in business administration (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a specialization in auditing, accounting, or taxes
- Initial practical experience in tax matters (e.g., through internships or working student positions) is desirable, but not mandatory
- A structured, independent way of working and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
- Enjoy communication, reliability, and a good sense for people – whether in the team or in contact with clients
- DATEV knowledge is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement
