We are looking for a Test Equipment Developer (m/w/d)

To strengthen our customer's team, we are seeking an engaged Test Equipment Developer (m/w/d) with technical expertise and structured thinking to advance the development and implementation of modern test systems in the field of railway technology.

Tasks

• Development of electronic test equipment as well as hardware and software solutions for automatic test systems
• Programming and adaptation of standard testing techniques based on test specifications from development to functional testing of products
• Creation of test programs for automated optical inspection (AOI) of populated printed circuit boards
• Creation of test programs for in-circuit tests (ICT) of populated printed circuit boards
• Testing, commissioning, and validation of developed test equipment – both individually and as part of the overall system
• Analysis and optimization of existing testing processes
• Development and documentation of testing instructions as work instructions for corresponding manufacturing areas
• Closely working together with development, manufacturing, and quality assurance

Qualification

• Completed technical education or study in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or comparable
• Knowledge in digital and analog circuit technology
• Fundamentals in programming languages (e.g. JavaScript / Python / etc.)
• Experience in developing test equipment as well as programming test systems
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style
• Outstanding quality awareness and good communication skills
• Experience in the field of structural tests (AOI / ICT) is advantageous
• Teamwork ability and sense of responsibility
• Very good German and English language skills

Type of contract: Fixed-term employment through labor leasing

Location: Arnstadt

Start: asap

Duration: 12 months (with option for extension)
