This awaits you:

• Leadership and support of development projects for handling and integration of heavy and highly sensitive optical components

• Analysis of technical requirements as well as development and evaluation of solution concepts, taking into account potential risks

• Development and optimization of assembly processes, tools, and technical solutions for the precise integration of large optical modules

• Concept development and further development of robot-assisted assembly systems as well as precise joining technologies for demanding high-tech applications

• Support of the serial production launch of developed processes, including commissioning and structured handover to manufacturing

• Analysis and optimization of inbound and outbound process chains for the handling and integration of complex large modules

• Development of sustainable improvement measures as well as systematic analysis and troubleshooting of technical problems in the production environment

Certain technical and personal prerequisites are helpful for this position. The following requirements provide you with an overview of the experience and qualities that are advantageous for this role.

What you should bring:

• Completed technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Industrial Engineering

• Experience in the development and commissioning of robot-assisted assembly plants and precise joining systems

• Sound knowledge in the development of inbound and outbound process chains for large technical modules

• Technological understanding as well as interest in special machine construction, automation technology, and complex manufacturing processes

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility and assertiveness

• Strong communication and cooperation skills in interdisciplinary teams and technologically demanding development projects

• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
