What's expected of you: Responsibility for setting up production in the manufacturing area of wheel production with process, structure, and equipment to ensure production capability at the Thai plant Responsibility for the entire production process with welding structures, leak testing, and finish processing at the Thai plant Planning, procurement, and commissioning of production facilities, tools, operating materials, and new equipment structures in accordance with statutory and internal guidelines and instructions Support in implementing Lean Production and continuous optimization of ongoing production to achieve the given quality, cost, and deadline targets Independent realization of various project and planning tasks with necessary steps, working methods, workflow, costs, investment, manufacturing means, and capacity planning using tools Continuous optimization of ongoing production to achieve the given quality, cost, and deadline targets as well as implementation of innovation and digitalization projects Close coordination, definition, and representation of relevant planning parameters with departments and network partners What you bring: Completed studies in the field of engineering / welding engineer (m/w/d), mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification Extended knowledge in manufacturing technology welding and the preceding and subsequent processes (e.g. leak testing, finish, surface coating) Experience in project planning as well as steering and implementation of interdisciplinary and international projects Knowledge of capacity, project, structure, and financial planning Fundamental competence in procurement and integration of production equipment Business economic knowledge (cost and profitability accounting) Fundamental competence in the application of MS Office and SAP CA knowledge (Catia V5, Prisma, VisView, Microstation, comparable) Good German and English language skills Travel readiness Location: Berlin We look forward to your application.
