MECHANICAL PIPING PROJECT ENGINEER – (Industrial Plants)

From RDT Bilbao, we are opening a new process to incorporate into our advanced engineering team. We are looking for a Mechanical Piping Project Engineer specialized in Industrial Plants to join a long-term project within the energy, chemical and industrial processes sector. You will integrate into a multidisciplinary engineering team working on real plant projects, actively participating in 3D design of pipes, equipment and supports and generating detailed designs, calculations and reports. Your responsibilities will include: • Designing and developing piping systems for industrial plants. • Developing and implementing piping layouts and configurations. • Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for piping projects. • Collaborating with other engineers to develop and implement project plans. • Participating in the development of detailed designs, calculations and reports. • Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers. • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical piping design for industrial plants. • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). • Knowledge of piping codes and regulations (ASME, API, etc.). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
