ABOUT THE PROJECT: We are looking for a Proxy Product Owner (Proxy PO) to support a large transformation program in the insurance industry. The person in this role will be responsible for representing business needs in the product development process, managing the backlog, and coordinating cooperation between business, IT, architecture, and vendors. The role combines product, business, and technological competencies, focusing on delivering business value and effective end-to-end implementation. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS: - Defining and developing a product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. - Managing the product backlog, prioritization, and transparency of requirements. - Creating and refining User Stories and breaking down requirements into releasable elements. - Making product decisions and managing trade-offs between scope, time, cost, and quality. - Conducting discovery activities, workshops, and user needs analysis. - Defining product goals, success criteria, and monitoring the delivery of business value. - Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, and vendors. - Analyzing and monitoring product and business metrics (KPI, OKR, NPS, ROI, TTM). - Supporting product release planning and execution. - Coordinating cooperation between business and technological areas. - Managing change and resolving conflicts between business and IT. - Responsibility for the success of product implementations in an end-to-end model. EXPECTATIONS FOR CANDIDATES: - Experience in the role of Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner. - Ability to create and maintain a product vision and roadmap. - Advanced experience in product backlog management and prioritization based on business value. - Very good knowledge of Scrum and practical experience working with scrum teams. - Ability to create complete User Stories and manage requirements. - Experience in stakeholder management and building business relationships. - Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Miro tools. - Experience in the insurance industry. - Knowledge of product and business metrics (KPI, OKR, NPS, ROI, TTM). - Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent). - Very good knowledge of technological issues, integration, and APIs. - Experience in conducting discovery activities and user needs analysis. - Experience in change management and working with organizational resistance. - Participation in the implementation of commercial products in the insurance industry. - English language at a minimum B2 level. - Readiness for hybrid work in Warsaw. NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in implementing EIS or Guidewire systems. - Experience collaborating with UX and knowledge of design processes. - Knowledge of SQL and log analysis. - Ability to conduct Story Mapping and Event Storming workshops. - Familiarity with GA4 or similar analytical tools. - Experience in conducting A/B tests and product experiments. - PSM II, SAFe, LeSS, or other advanced Agile certifications. - Utilization of AI solutions in product work, needs analysis, and backlog management.
