For an international company in Sint-Truiden, we are looking for an Assembly Operator Prototype Workshop. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative products and play an important role in the construction, assembly, and validation of prototypes.
Your responsibilities
As an Assembly Operator Prototype Workshop, you will participate in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality mechanical prototype parts and tools for production and R&D projects. You will work closely with engineers and technical specialists.
What will you do?
- Manufacturing and machining of fine mechanical prototype parts.
- Mounting and assembling prototypes and sub-assemblies.
- Collaborating with engineers and programmers to test and optimize prototypes.
- Performing measurements and quality checks on machined parts.
- Inspecting prototypes during and after test phases.
- Preparing inspection and measurement reports and ensuring correct administrative follow-up.
- Contributing to the build-up of initial series products based on process steps, bill of materials, and technical documentation.
- Creating, modifying, and improving work instructions where necessary.
- Analyzing test results and actively formulating improvement proposals.
- Taking responsibility for a complete prototype or a sub-assembly within the development process.
