Protection & Control Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Phasor Engineering is a dynamic North America based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Protection & Control Engineer-in-Training (EIT). As an EIT, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of protection and control systems for high voltage electrical facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: * Assist in the design and development of protection and control systems for high voltage electrical facilities; * Conduct site visits and perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems; * Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation of projects; * Develop and maintain technical documentation and records; * Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules; * Assist in the development of proposals and bids for new projects; * Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in protection and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and protection and control systems. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
