Proposal & Project Engineer

Summary: A Proposal Engineer is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting technical and commercial proposals for projects, collaborating with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure the proposals meet customer requirements and company objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for projects. * Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure proposals meet customer requirements. * Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions. * Prepare cost estimates, pricing, and schedules for proposals. * Review and negotiate contracts with customers. * Maintain accurate records of proposals and project activities. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements. * Work with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies. * Manage project budgets and timelines. * Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project execution. * Provide technical support to customers. * Attend customer meetings and presentations. * Travel to customer sites as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in proposal engineering or project management. * Strong technical writing and communication skills. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with CRM software. * Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. * Experience with the following products is a plus: * Automated Mooring Systems (AMS) * Aircraft Ground Power (AGP) systems * Ground Support Equipment (GSE) * Frequency Converters * Cable Reels Benefits: * Competitive salary * Health insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) plan * Professional development opportunities
