Property Lawyer

Our client is a leading boutique firm based in Auckland’s CBD, highly regarded within the legal network. The firm is known for its solid partnership, strong culture, and excellent succession opportunities.
This is a rare opportunity to join a team where you will be supported to grow while contributing to high-quality and complex matters.
The majority of the role will be property based with some requirement to work on Trusts relating where necessary.

The Role

You will work across a diverse range of matters including:

• Acquisition, development, and sale of residential and commercial properties
• Due diligence, subdivisions, leasing, refinancing, and design-build lease arrangements
• Construction transactions
• Trust establishment, administration, and compliance
• Drafting trust deeds, variations, and resettlements
• Advising on trustee duties and obligations, distribution of assets, and succession planning

About You

• 2–5 years PQE, with experience in property and/or litigation
• Exposure to trust work, or a genuine interest in developing this area of expertise
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• A forward-thinking mindset and commitment to building long-term client relationships
