Property Assistant

Job Description We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerset in the Vines Village in Havelock North! In this full-time role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the high standards Summerset takes pride in – helping to keep our village safe, beautiful, and running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Property Manager and Gardeners to support a wide range of maintenance and gardening tasks across the village. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working outdoors, and taking pride in their work. If you have experience in property management, horticulture, or a related field, we’d love to hear from you! As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for: • Maintaining the village’s grounds, including mowing lawns, pruning trees, and tidying up gardens. • Assisting with maintenance tasks such as fixing fences, repairing paths, and performing minor repairs. • Supporting the Property Manager with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents. • Collaborating with Gardeners to ensure our village looks its best at all times. • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss progress, share ideas, and receive feedback.
