The tasks and challenges for MAUSER are growing. Therefore, we are looking for support at our location in Brühl near Cologne.

Tasks

• Support for production sites in the optimization and maintenance of production plants, especially extrusion blow molding machines
• Implementation of measures to prevent or reduce downtimes
• Leadership of projects for carrying out repairs, overhauls, and relocation of production plants; creation of schedule and cost plans
• Manual work in assembly / disassembly / repair of machine components
• Cleaning / inspection of components and, if necessary, obtaining and coordinating quotations
• Coordination of internal and external suppliers with regard to the proper execution of work and the minimization of downtimes in coordination with production planning or the management of the affected site
• Evaluation and documentation of machine conditions and the resulting measures, and management of corresponding data records
• Creation of requirements specifications
• Creation of systematic maintenance plans
• Conducting training sessions in the areas of repair and maintenance
• Creating service instructions and manuals

Qualification

• Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, technician, or a comparable qualification
• Strong planning and manual skills, as well as experience in assembly, disassembly, and repair of production plants and automation technology, including service assignments abroad
• Comprehensive knowledge in the field of plastics processing machines, especially extrusion blow molding machines, as well as basic knowledge of the extrusion blow molding process
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drive technology, as well as knowledge of mechanical processing and coating methods
• Experience in planning, leading, carrying out, and documenting projects involving external suppliers, as well as in preventive maintenance
• Proficient in MS Office, as well as good German and English language skills with a technical focus
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working with a strong safety awareness
• Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 40% of annual working time) as well as adaptability, teamwork, and learning ability
