Project Coordinator Gas Supply

The headquarters of RMD Rhein-Main Deponie GmbH and MTR Main-Taunus-Recycling GmbH is the Rhein-Main-Deponiepark with the landfill Flörsheim-Wicker. Here and at other locations in the Rhine-Main area, the company group operates facilities for waste disposal and recycling as well as for energy generation using renewable energies and is responsible for aftercare, remediation, and securing of landfills.

Tasks

• Energiemanagement (within the environmental management system EMAS) at the locations Brandholz and Wicker (CHP plants and PV systems)
• Maintenance of the landfill gas collection facility (DGEA) for the Wicker landfill
• Techncial accounting of electricity and heat (CHP plants)
• Collection of energy and production data, energy consumption and usage analysis
• Earnings forecast planning (electricity, heat)
• Coordination, documentation, and reporting, compliance with regulations and laws
• Coordinations with relevant authorities, network operators, and direct marketers
• Compliance with notification obligations for electricity and heat
• Contact person for electricity marketing (direct marketers and network operators)
• Contact person for the external auditor for the annual environmental report (EEG) as well as validations (EMAS) for the energy management area
• Preparation of annual reports
• Optimizations of electricity and heat supply and delivery to sites, taking into account self-supply and identifying energy savings potential and setting up efficiency measures
• Maintenance, optimization, evaluation, and gas forecast planning for the DGEA
• Project work including independent project planning, evaluation of comprehensive operating data, preparation of economic considerations, and evaluation and assessment of operating data
• Monitoring, implementation, and revision of quality management plan (QMP) according to BQS 10-1 landfill gas
• Coordination, documentation, and reporting, compliance with regulations and laws,
• In coordination responsible for coordinating with relevant authorities
• Coordination, commissioning, and maintenance of maintenance/repair work on the DGEA after coordination and approval with department leadership
• Budget and aftercare cost planning in coordination with KST representatives
• Review of comprehensive technical designs, including tender documents, taking into account the existing plant/permit situation
• Support for local project management of also technically complex projects and their accounting

Qualification

• University degree or comparable qualification
• Fundamentals of process engineering, gas turbine technology, and gas measurement technology
• Economic fundamentals, order and settlement procedures
• Basic knowledge of energy marketing
• Safe reading and interpretation of legislative texts and regulations
• First professional experience in the above tasks from an advantage
• Very good MS-Office skills Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
