IMCOG GmbH, based in Ludwigshafen, supports companies in the implementation of corporate sustainability management, from strategy development and sustainability reporting to action planning and steering. As a research-oriented company, we combine scientific expertise with practical relevance and have successfully implemented publicly funded development projects. Our interdisciplinary team develops solutions for demanding professional tasks.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

For a new project to develop an AI-supported audit platform for ESRS sustainability reports, we have an immediate opening for a

PROJECT MANAGER (M/F/D) FULL-TIME

to fill the position.

As part of the project, we are developing a novel software solution together with partners to support audit firms in the independent auditing of sustainability reports. By using Artificial Intelligence, complex auditing processes are to be made more efficient, transparent, and traceable. In particular, ESRS requirements, audit risks, audit procedures, and audit evidence will be intelligently linked.

WHAT ARE YOUR TASKS?

• Analysis and further development of audit processes.

• Participation in the development of audit, data, and rule models for the AI-supported analysis of sustainability reports.

• Close collaboration with audit firms to learn about practical audit procedures and derive requirements for the software.

• Coordination of professional requirements with the external software development team and support for their technical implementation.

• Participation in the development, testing, and scientific evaluation of software prototypes under practical conditions.

• Systematic investigation of the functionality, traceability, and reliability of AI-supported audit procedures.

WHAT DO YOU BRING WITH YOU?

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field.

• Interest in auditing, sustainability reporting, and digital technologies.

• Affinity for software applications, data analysis, and Artificial Intelligence.

• Independent and meticulous working style, as well as enjoyment of collaboration with different professional disciplines.

• Very good German language skills and good English language skills.

• Initial practical experience in auditing, audit-related consulting, or accounting is welcome.

• Knowledge of sustainability reporting according to CSRD and ESRS is also welcome.
