Software Development Project Manager

The ekvip automation GmbH, located in Leipzig, specializes in SPS programming and worldwide commissioning of networked production facilities. We deliver modern automation solutions to a global customer base and continuously expand our team.

Tasks

• Operative control and implementation of automation projects in the international machine building environment – from requirement gathering to rollout
• Coordination and communication with internal departments, customer companies, and external service providers
• Ensuring time, budget, and quality targets throughout all project phases
• Analyzing existing processes and deriving software requirements in close cooperation with the engineering department
• Claim and change management
• Preliminary preparation and conduct of project workshops, status meetings, and training sessions
• Documented monitoring and reporting to management
• Handling international teams

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics, mechanical engineering, economics or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in operational IT project management, ideally in an industrial or machine building environment
• Techincal understanding of production processes, system architectures and interfaces
• Sure command of German and English in word and writing
• High travel readiness for international project assignments
