Project Manager Switchgear Construction

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager (m/f/d) Switchgear Construction 100% for our projects in the field of traction power supply in the Cologne area.
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the technical, schedule-related and economic execution of switchgear projects from planning to on-site commissioning.
- Supervision, technical and organizational management of DC systems within the Sécheron Group, from planning to on-site commissioning.
- Interface function between customers and the project team (international).
- Technical coordination with design, engineering and commissioning.
- Awarding of sub-contractor services to sub-contractors.
- Support of customer acceptances in the plant in Prague and on site at the construction site.
- Quality management and evaluation, tracking and documentation of project risks and implementation of risk mitigation measures
- Schedule planning, cost estimation, project controlling and reporting to the department management.
- Customer, claim and change management
Requirements
- University degree with a focus on electrical engineering, energy technology or industrial engineering (or comparable qualification). Alternatively: Further training as a state-certified technician or electrical master craftsman with project management experience.
- Sound knowledge of switchgear planning, plant construction (medium/high voltage), protection technology, possibly secondary technology.
- Experience in the field as a project manager in plant construction and in the project execution of customer projects.
- Excellent communication and commercial skills.
- Experience in leading a project team, in contract management, claim management and billing procedures.
- Experience in the professional and timely coordination of project phases in the offer preparation, project planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, acceptance.
- You are characterized by a very independent, flexible and reliable way of working and a high level of resilience. You also have good persuasion and assertiveness skills.
- You express yourself excellently in German (at least C2), both verbally and in writing, and communicate well in English (at least B2). Any other language is an advantage.
The following is also an advantage:
- Experience in dealing with network operators, municipal utilities or traction power systems.
- Knowledge of relevant standards VOB, HOAI, and VDE is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of automation technology. (IEC 61850 is a plus)
- Experience in the professional and timely coordination of suppliers.
- Knowledge of EPLAN, AutoCAD systems.
- Safe handling of MS Office, project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and, if applicable, Oracle, SAP.
