Project Manager Operations and Partner Projects (all genders)

Millions of cars drive through Germany every day, and in most of them, space remains unused. We are changing that.

MUVN is a digital transport marketplace. We connect drivers with free cargo space with people and companies who need to transport something. Cheaper, insured, without detours.

We are currently building several things at once: a new product for commercial shippers, pilots with major brands, new routes, integrations. Several people from multiple departments are working on each of these topics, and none of them have the full overview of all the others.

This position exists precisely for that. You know at all times where each project stands, what's next, and where the bottlenecks are. A question about the current sprint, and you can answer it. A question about a partner project, and you approach the people involved and ensure that everything is ready by Day X.

You are not a Product Owner and do not need to be able to develop. You need to understand what it's about, be able to roughly estimate what something means, and bring things across the finish line.

Tasks

• Overview of all projects

You manage the timelines for the marketplace, our product for commercial shippers, integrations, and partner projects. Status, next milestone, open decisions, risks. Everything in one place, up-to-date, and findable by anyone in the team in two minutes.

• Actively drive topics forward

You don't wait for status updates, you get them. Friendly and persistent, until done really means done.

• Dependencies and deadlines

You recognize early on where topics block each other, across tech, marketing, operations, and external partners. And you escalate specifically: not "it's going to be tight," but "if X isn't ready by Friday, Y will be postponed by two weeks."

• Launches and pilots

You plan and accompany the launch of new products, features, and partner projects. Who delivers what by when, what needs to be in place on Day X, what do we learn afterwards. And you build checklists that work better the second time than the first.

• Interface to Tech

We are a technical product, so much depends on our CTO. You are the interface between him and the ongoing projects. You understand enough about the topic to roughly estimate what something means in a customer or partner conversation, and to ask the right follow-up questions.

• Goals and rhythm

You keep the pace: cycles, check-ins, reviews, visible progress. The goals are set by the founders and those responsible. Ensuring they are followed up on is your responsibility.

• Meetings and decisions

For your cross-project meetings, you prepare and follow up: agenda, documents, results, to-dos with responsible person and date. You document decisions in such a way that they are not renegotiated two weeks later.

• External partners

Agencies, pilot partners, service providers. You manage the collaboration: deliveries, deadlines, feedback loops.

• Processes and AI

You standardize recurring tasks with templates and checklists. You work AI-first: status reports, minutes, research, and documentation are built with AI. You check what comes out. The accuracy is yours, not the tool's.

Qualification

You have at least two years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a startup, an agency, or a digital product environment. You have successfully brought a project with multiple stakeholders and a hard deadline across the finish line without doing the technical work yourself.

You are close to digital products. You don't need deep technical knowledge, but you need to understand the interrelationships of issues and be able to roughly estimate what a request means before you agree to it.

What is just as important to us as organization:

• You think critically. What don't our users understand? What does the market do better than us? What could we sharpen with small impulses?
• You ask questions, even three times, even if it gets uncomfortable.
• You have courage. You say it when you think something is wrong, even if three founders are in the room.
• You deliver by the agreed-upon date or renegotiate beforehand, not afterwards.
• You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.

Very good German and good English. Our development team works in English.
