Job description
Millions of cars drive through Germany every day, and in most of them, space remains unused. We are changing that.
MUVN is a digital transport marketplace. We connect drivers with available cargo space with people and companies who need to transport something. Cheaper, insured, without detours.
We are building several things simultaneously: a new product for commercial shippers, pilots with major brands, new routes, integrations. Several people from different departments are working on each of these topics, and none of them have a complete overview of all the others.
This is exactly why this position exists. You know at all times where each project stands, what's next, and where the bottlenecks are. A question about the current sprint, and you can answer it. A question about a partner project, and you approach the people involved and ensure that everything is ready by day X.
You are not a Product Owner and you don't need to be able to develop. You need to understand what it's about, be able to roughly estimate what something means, and bring things across the finish line.
We are looking for you to join our team in Cologne starting November 15, 2026 🚀
Responsibilities
Overview of all projects
You manage the timeline for the marketplace, our product for commercial shippers, integrations, and partner projects. Status, next milestone, open decisions, risks. Everything in one place, up-to-date, and findable for everyone in the team in two minutes.
Actively drive topics forward
You don't wait for status updates, you get them. Friendly and persistent, until done really means done.
Dependencies and deadlines
You recognize early on where topics block each other, across tech, marketing, operations, and external partners. And you escalate concretely: not 'it's going to be tight,' but 'if X isn't ready by Friday, Y will be postponed by two weeks.'
Launches and pilots
You plan and accompany the launch of new products, features, and partner projects. Who delivers what by when, what needs to be ready on day X, what do we learn afterwards. And you build checklists that work better the second time than the first.
Interface to Tech
We are a technical product, so much depends on our CTO. You are the interface between him and the ongoing projects. You understand enough about the subject to roughly estimate what something means in a customer or partner conversation, and to ask the right follow-up questions.
Goals and rhythm
You maintain the pace: cycles, check-ins, reviews, visible progress. The goals are set by the founders and those responsible. Ensuring they are followed up on is your responsibility.
Meetings and decisions
For your cross-project meetings, you prepare and follow up: agenda, documents, results, to-dos with responsible person and date. You document decisions in such a way that they are not renegotiated two weeks later.
External partners
Agencies, pilot partners, service providers. You manage the collaboration: deliveries, deadlines, feedback loops.
Processes and AI
You standardize recurring tasks with templates and checklists. You work AI-first: you build status reports, minutes, research, and documentation with AI. You check what comes out. The accuracy is yours, not the tool's.
Qualifications
You have at least two years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a startup, agency, or digital product environment. You have successfully brought a project with multiple stakeholders and a hard deadline to completion without doing the technical work yourself.
You are close to digital products. You don't need deep technical knowledge, but you must understand interrelationships and be able to roughly estimate what a request means before you commit to it.
What is just as important to us as organization:
You think critically. What do our users not understand? What is the market doing better than us? What could we sharpen with small impulses?
You ask questions, even three times, even when it gets uncomfortable.
You have courage. You speak up when you think something is wrong, even if three founders are in the room.
You deliver by the agreed-upon date or renegotiate beforehand, not afterwards.
You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.
Very good German and good English. Our development team works in English.
Driven people > Degrees. Your mindset counts more than your degree.
Benefits
Real decisions: you decide the path to the deadline, the escalation, and when something is finished
Direct line to the founders: no HR filter, no hierarchy in between
You see everything: marketplace, product, partners, numbers. With us, there is no level that is closed to you.
AI-first in everyday life: we work with modern tools and show you how
Career perspective: the role grows with the company, in DACH and Europe
Hybrid working: office in Hamburg, home office by arrangement
Offsites with the team: Together we achieve more
Free MUVN Rides: You will not incur any usage fees
Corporate Benefits: Discounts in hundreds of online shops

Send us your CV and half a page with it:
Look at our app or our website and tell us one thing you would improve. What do users not understand in your opinion, and what do you base that on?
There is no right answer. We are interested in how you look.
Or send a short video about it. Frankly, it makes us even more curious than any cover letter.
Here's how it works: first conversation with Katharina, then a session on a real project from our daily work, then getting to know the team.
Questions? Directly to Katharina.
Let's get it muvn. 🚀
