Your Tasks
The Organization
This is the non-profit subsidiary of the Berlin-based social enterprise Good Hood GmbH, which operates the neighborhood platform. We promote concrete, voluntary engagement – online and offline, in neighborhoods and society. By doing so, we want to make a contribution against loneliness and societal division – for a human, solidary, and lively coexistence. In this context, we focus on the following key areas: The brings together all those people who would otherwise only briefly encounter each other in the hallway or on the street – at neighborhood festivals throughout Germany. This, in turn, particularly values highly engaged neighborhood initiatives and makes them known to others, thereby encouraging imitation elsewhere. We cooperate with a large network of partners across Germany and are a young, social organization that works like a digital startup and continuously develops itself.
- You support the planning and operational implementation of foundation projects
- You support the communication team and create press releases, website texts, mailings, and text for social media
- You coordinate agreements with external service providers or network partners
- You keep track of the schedule and project planning.
- You support the team in conducting our large events, such as the German Neighborhood Prize award ceremony
- You bring your ideas actively into the foundation team, participate in the development of new initiatives and projects, and support fundraising
Your Profile
- You have a passion for social issues, societal engagement, and social innovation
- You hold an academic degree from a university or college
- You have at least 1 year of work experience in communication agencies, business, media, politics, or the non-profit sector
- You are familiar with digital communication tools and methods, particularly social media
- You have high interest in direct contact with stakeholders, network partners, and societal or political issues
- You possess excellent verbal and written expression skills, no fear of phone calls
- You handle standard computer programs like PowerPoint, Excel, and knowledge of databases/CMS is an advantage
- You have a very meticulous, self-reliant work style, great organizational skills, and willingness to take on responsibility within the team
- You have quick comprehension, flexibility, and initiative
- You possess excellent teamwork and communication skills
