Youth Basketball Project Manager (all genders) in Part-time (20 hours)

With heart and soul: For over 30 years, we have been connecting top-level basketball with social engagement at ALBA BERLIN.

We compete against the best teams on the continent and move around 15,000 children and young people in Berlin and Brandenburg every week. We win championships like cups and organize additional all-day programs at several schools in Berlin. We train national players and bring movement into the education and sports system. We excite a large community and make a name for ourselves as an innovative sports club. We advocate for sustainable sport development - from the grassroots to the absolute top.

Tasks

• Comprehensive conception, planning, organization, implementation, and follow-up of sports events and projects, such as showing size, ALBA & Allianz 3x3 Girls Cup or the ALBA BERLIN & Allianz Girls' Day.
• Responsibility for operational and administrative project processes, particularly participant management, maintenance of booking and planning tools, and coordination with internal interfaces.
• Ensuring a professional project organization regarding time plans, communication, resources, and quality.
• Ongoing development of existing event and project formats and participation in the development of new offers for children and young people.

Qualification

• Experience in planning, organizing, and managing projects, events, or comparable offerings. Ideally in a sports, education, or club setting.
• Outstanding organizational talent and a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style.
• Passion for sport and high identification with the values and environment of ALBA BERLIN; basketball connection is advantageous.
• A completed education or degree in the field of sports, event management, project management, or a comparable specialization.
• Ideal experience in project or event management and a Class B driver's license.
