Project Manager/in Service Provider Management

Your Role at BELKAW

As Project Manager/in Service Provider Management, you are the central point of contact for planning, controlling, and implementing projects with external involvement. You will also be responsible for operational and strategic management of external service providers. In your role, you ensure that project-related, outsourced services are implemented on time, in high quality, and economically. As a coordinating interface between internal departments, external partners, and management, you ensure a smooth flow of information. You create transparency about project progress, services rendered, costs, quality, and potential risks and derive targeted control and optimization measures from them. Through the consistent implementation of these measures, you contribute sustainably to process improvement and results. This task can be performed in part-time if the workload allows it.

Your Tasks

• Independent planning, control, coordination, and monitoring of projects in your area of responsibility
• Control of external service providers including performance definition, prioritization, term, cost, and quality control
• Alignment of project goals, requirements, and framework conditions with internal departments
• Participation in shaping contractual agreements, service levels, and qualitative specifications
• Ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, service levels, and qualitative specifications
• Development, maintenance, and further development of project and control instruments (e.g. status reports, performance, quality, and cost key figures)
• Analysis of project and performance data as well as identification of deviations and risks
• Deduction of recommendations for action and control measures in case of goal deviations
• Moderation and implementation of project, status, rule, and escalation meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Presentation and commenting on decision-making bases for leadership and management levels
• Identification of systemic weaknesses in processes and systems as well as formulation of professional requirements for further development
• Support in selecting, commissioning, evaluating, and developing service providers
• Accompaniment of structured onboarding of new project participants or external partners

Your Profile

• Degree in business administration and/or training in the commercial sector
• Fundamental experience in project management as well as in controlling external service providers, at least three years of expertise
• Very good understanding of process, performance, quality, and cost structures
• First experience in legally secure design of (service provider-) contracts
• Able to evaluate complex situations, prioritize tasks, and make independent decisions
• Excellent communication, coordination, and moderation skills
• Safe handling of key figures, evaluations, and control instruments
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and control
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style
• High sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and result orientation
• Able to think critically and creatively
