You ensure that demanding software and development projects are managed purposefully, transparently, and reliably throughout the organization. You coordinate requirements, resources, deadlines, risks, and communication between all stakeholders, ensuring that teams collaborate efficiently and jointly develop optimal solutions for our clients.

In your role, you are much more than a classic PM: You navigate through complex technical and organizational contexts, moderate decisions, create transparency, and connect clients, development teams, and stakeholders into a high-performing project environment. You keep an eye on both customer requirements and economic goals, as well as team dynamics.

The position is located at our site in Karlsruhe.

Tasks

More specifically, you can expect the following tasks among others:

• You take responsibility for demanding software and development projects and lead them to success in terms of goal achievement, quality, deadlines, budget, and risk.
• You create transparency about requirements, scope, priorities, dependencies, and decision needs, and ensure reliable project control.
• You are the central point of contact for clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders and manage collaboration across all project phases.
• You coordinate multiple projects in parallel, balance resources, priorities, and client requirements, always keeping economic goals in mind.
• You identify risks, conflicting goals, and change requests early, make sound decisions, and initiate appropriate measures for successful implementation.
• You build long-term customer relationships, are responsible for project controlling and forecasts, and contribute your experience to the continuous development of our project management methods.

Qualifications

What you bring with you:

• You have experience in the self-responsible management of software or technical development projects in a client environment.
• You have a technical background from software development, electrical engineering, or a comparable engineering field and can confidently understand and contextualize technical relationships.
• You have experience in coordinating multiple projects and different stakeholders in parallel, setting priorities, and maintaining an overview even with increasing complexity.
• You convince with initiative, reliability, and a sense of responsibility, and are willing to make decisions and take responsibility for their implementation.
• You communicate clearly, reliably, and at eye level with clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders, and can constructively bring together different perspectives.
• You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.

Also advantageous are:
Experience with Scrum, agile, or hybrid project management approaches.
Knowledge of Jira, Polarion, Targetprocess, or comparable tools.
Technical background in software development, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
Experience in regulated environments or with topics such as IEC 62443, Industrial Cybersecurity, GMP/GAMP, or industrial communication protocols.
