Job description

Take Responsibility – as Project Manager (m/w/d) Building Automation

The ISG – automation GmbH is an independent, family-owned engineering office for building, industrial, and ship automation with its headquarters in Rostock. Since 2013, we have been developing comprehensive automation solutions that combine innovation, efficiency, and practice.
With a dedicated team of experienced engineers, we realize demanding projects for public and private clients.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, or Master/Technician (m/w/d) with technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for intelligent building technology.

Tasks

  • Sole responsibility for leading and controlling building automation projects in the area of MSR-Technology (HOAI LP1–LP9)
  • Technical planning of automation and MSR systems for new and existing buildings
  • Project management, commissioning management, and quality assurance
  • Development of automation concepts, creation of GA sample solutions, specifications, and performance descriptions
  • Preparation of technical documentation, MSR diagrams, and function lists
  • Coordination with clients, architects, planners, and subcontractors
  • Support in customer consulting, contract negotiations, and project controlling
  • Fostering and professional support for team members

Qualification

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Building Automation or comparable field of study advantageous
  • Multiple years of experience in planning and project management of building automation systems
  • In-depth knowledge of MSR technology, GA systems, and communication protocols (e.g. KNX, BACnet, Modbus)
  • Experience with CAD software (TRIC, AutoCAD) and safe handling of MS Office
  • Outstanding communication skills, organizational talent, and initiative
  • Good knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking
  • Familiarity with calculation, HOAI, VOB, and technical standards
  • Travel readiness (main focus on North Germany)
