Tasks

• Self-responsible project management (development to series)
• Responsibility for meeting, cost, and quality targets
• Development of production processes and responsibility for procurement of operating materials (especially tools)
• Responsibility for meeting cost targets until EOP
• Preparation of calculations
• Preparation and negotiation of offers and tracking these
• Development of bid strategies to achieve project goals
• Care of selected existing customers
• Project controlling / Preparation of regular reports for internal and external addressees
• Function as an interface to internal departments, customers, and suppliers

Qualification

• Degree in the field of mechanical engineering or automotive technology or a comparable area
• Professional experience in metalworking and procurement of operating materials, especially toolmaking, ideally from the automotive industry supplemented by commercial knowledge of advantage
• Secure language and writing skills in German and English
• Knowledge of CAD is advantageous, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and calculations)
• Very good communication skills and social competence are required, as well as enthusiasm for the automotive industry
