Job description
For our client, we are exclusively looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) based in Tuttlingen. This position is a newly created role.
Our Client
Our client is a hidden champion from Tuttlingen with quality "Made in Germany". This family-owned company is one of the world's leading providers in its industry and currently employs over 200 people in Tuttlingen.
Responsibilities
- You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary projects for the further development of the existing product portfolio
- You will be responsible for projects end-to-end: from scope definition through implementation to follow-up after go-live
- You will ensure that projects achieve the agreed-upon goals in terms of quality, cost, performance, and time-to-market
- You will work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales
- You will manage risks, dependencies, and conflicts of objectives and ensure transparency and fact-based decisions
- You will communicate in a structured manner with stakeholders and provide clear reporting on project progress, KPIs, and results
- You will actively contribute to the further development of project management processes, tools, and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field (or state-certified technician)
- Several years of experience in project management in an industrial environment
- Proven experience in steering improvement projects on existing products (quality, cost reduction, design changes, industrialization)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and product-related performance drivers
- Experience in Engineering Change Management and with continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of working with AI tools is welcome
- Structured way of working, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills
- High organizational talent, proactive attitude, and clear results orientation with a focus on customers and business objectives
