Project Manager Defence (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager (m/f/d) in the Defence sector, you will take responsibility for exciting projects - from the tender to successful commissioning:

• Evaluation of inquiries and public tenders
• Creation of tailor-made offers, taking into account technical, economic, and public procurement law requirements
• Establishing and maintaining contact with customers and public authorities
• Planning, controlling, and documenting demanding projects
• Close cooperation and secure communication with customers, authorities, suppliers, and internal specialist departments
• Quality, cost, and schedule controlling
• Accompanying project milestones on-site at the customer's premises, with particular attention to security-related provisions and requirements of government agencies
• Creation of project plans and reports

Job Requirements

• Technician or Master Craftsman in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Project experience in plant construction and/or pipeline construction
• Initial contact with public clients desirable
• Interest in technical projects and the defence or security-critical environment
• Enjoyment of communication and assertiveness towards internal and external contact persons
• Organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Reliability and goal-oriented, independent work
• Willingness to travel
• Ideally, you have experience in the environment of the Bundeswehr or a comparable organization
