Project Manager Automation & Process Optimization (m/w/d)

We have secured a significant investment budget for 2026 for a series of automation projects – from large-scale upgrades to innovative, practical improvements.

These initiatives will elevate our production processes to a new level, and we have high expectations about the impact they will bring.

To manage these projects, qualify them, and ensure the dynamics, we are looking for an experienced project manager. In this central role, you will work closely with our production leader, senior manager for technical projects and maintenance, and our engaged project team to ensure a successful implementation – from the first idea to seamless handover to daily operation and maintenance.

Tasks

• Planning, coordination, and implementation of projects in the field of automation and process optimization in close cooperation with production, technology, and quality management
• Analyzing existing processes and identifying potential for improvement
• Developing concepts for efficiency enhancement, error reduction, and cost optimization
• Supporting the introduction of new technologies and digital systems
• Documented, project control, and reporting
• Ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards

Qualification

• Completed technical studies (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, production technology) or equivalent qualification
• Experience in project management, ideally in the food industry or production environment
• Good knowledge of automation and control technology, as well as Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent communication skills and joy in collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
• Good English skills
