Project Leadership Cross-Departmental Research and Analysis Platform (VeRA) (w/m/d)

At the Präsidium Technik, Logistik, Service der Polizei (PTLS Pol), located at the Stuttgart site in Department 2 – Department Coordination, the position of Project Leadership for a cross-departmental research and analysis platform (VeRA) (w/m/d) will be filled as soon as possible. The appointment will take place upon presentation of all tariff and personal prerequisites in salary group 14 of the TV-L 1 . The Präsidium Technik, Logistik, Service der Polizei (PTLS Pol) is a central service provider for the police department. The tasks of this position include: • Development and implementation of a cross-departmental research and analysis platform (VeRA) to support the police department's operational planning and decision-making processes; • Coordination and collaboration with various departments within the police department, as well as with external partners and stakeholders; • Analysis and evaluation of existing data and information systems to identify potential for improvement and optimization; • Development and implementation of a comprehensive data management strategy to ensure efficient and effective use of data; • Collaboration with IT experts to develop and implement necessary technical solutions; • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines; • Providing guidance and support to employees in the use of VeRA; • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of VeRA and making recommendations for improvement. The successful candidate will have a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology) and several years of experience in project management, data analysis, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of the police department's operational processes and procedures is an advantage. The position is open to both men and women.
