Project Management Building Pollutants (m/f/d)

WESSLING Consulting Engineering is an independent environmental and engineering consultancy with around 230 employees and roots dating back to 1983. Four areas shape the business: Building Pollutants and Demolition, Geology and Water, Energy, and Technical Management Consulting. At the Berlin-Adlershof location, a team of 14 colleagues in the Building Pollutants and Demolition department is currently strengthening its project management, and this is exactly who we are looking for.

Your Tasks

• You will lead your projects independently from the initial inspection to acceptance, without every step requiring an approval committee.
• You will investigate buildings for pollutants such as asbestos, man-made mineral fibers (MMF), PCBs, and PAHs.
• You will create investigation concepts, performance specifications, and expert reports in the field of building pollutants.
• You will plan pollutant remediation and supervise their implementation as a specialist construction manager, including the acceptance of executing companies.
• You will maintain and expand relationships with your clients, from hospitals and schools to private properties.

What You Bring With You

• At least three years of professional experience in the investigation or remediation of building pollutants or in demolition.
• Experience in project management, not just in project execution.
• Experience in direct customer contact.
• Very good German language skills, written and spoken, at least C1 level, as you will author your own reports.
• Class B driver's license.
• A university degree as a civil engineer, environmental engineer, geoscientist, or natural scientist is an advantage, but not a must, as your practical experience in the subject area is decisive.
